MES6 - Mathematics Education and Society - 6th International Conference
20 – 25 March 2010, Berlin, Germany
Aims of MES 6
The Mathematics Education and Society (MES) conferences aim to bring together mathematics educators around the world to provide a forum for discussing widely the social, political, cultural and ethical dimensions of mathematics education; disseminate research that explores those dimensions; address methodological issues for this type of research; foster international co-operation in the area; and promote the development of a strong research community with an interest in those dimensions.
Following previous conferences that took place in Nottingham (UK, 1998), Montechoro (Portugal, 2000), Helsingør (Denmark, 2002), Golden Coast (Australia, 2004) and Albufeira (Portugal, 2008), we are now pleased to announce the 6th Mathematics Education and Society Conference (MES 6).
Venue and Dates
The conference MES 6 will be held in Berlin (Germany) from Saturday, 20th March to Thursday, 25th March 2010. Conference activities, accommodation of participants and meals will be at the Hotel Christophorus.
