During an expert panel at the Euro Science Open Forum 2018 in Toulouse, Norma Bethke, PhD student and project coordinator of the Focus Area DynAge, discussed with various important actors how early career researcher can engage with policy makers and support the transfer of their scientific results into public and politics and why this is important. The panel was attended by David Mair from the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), Pearl Dykstra, one of eight independent scientific advisors to the EU Commission, and Claudia Siegel, Head of the Brussels Liaison Office of Freie Universität Berlin.
