I joined the lab in April 2025 as a BCCN Berlin pre-doc intern. I was originally trained as a Telecommunications Engineer and later on graduated with an MSc in Data Science from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Cameroon; so my background is a mix of fundamental mathematics and computational techniques. During my final Master's year (2024), I was exposed to the field of Computational Neuroscience and instantly got fascinated by it. I love how learning from the brain enables us to build more intelligent systems and how computational methods, in turn, help us better understand neural functions and mechanisms. My current research interests lie in exploring the interplay between vision and other sensory modalities, using Deep Neural Networks as computational models. When I'm not working, I'm either listening to or making music; it's a passion of mine that runs very deep and I am happy to live it as a pianist and orchestral composer.
