The CCNB hosts a state-of-the-art DYNOT from NIRx with 32 sources and 32 detectors, allowing for a time resolution of 1.9 Hz using all sources and 70 Hz for a single source. The use of light with two wavelengths (760 and 830 nm) allows the simultaneous detection of oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin. The setup is therefore particularly well suited to study the hemodynamic parameters of oxygen consumption.
