M.Sc. Cognitive Neuroscience

In winter term 2021, Master Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin (MCNB) replaced the Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN) master program. The curriculum of MCNB is based on the extensive teaching experience at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin (CCNB) within the Psychology Department of the Freie Universität Berlin.

Information Video for Applicants

In this video the program coordinator explains the structure of the program and the admission procedures and admission requirements (conditions for eligibility).

Please note: This video aims to explain the application procedures, but the provided information is not legally binding. There might be changes to the program and only the current official regulations and rules are legally binding, which you will find elsewhere. 

Please note: In the presentation the wording "will get admission" is sometimes used instead of "will be considered eligible (fulfill the admission requirements)". There is no direct admission. The prerequisites as explained in the video are necessary conditions for eligibility. If you fulfill the admission requirements/coditions, your application will enter the competitive selection procedures as described in the video and on our further websites.
