On March 15th, 2024 the new FlexGanz research project was launched in the department of Professorship of Primary Education. The project is funded by the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family in Berlin.

In the FlexGanz project, the "FlexGanztag" school trial initiated by the Senate Department, in which a new organisational model for all-day primary schools in Berlin is being tested, will be scientifically monitored over the next four years.
