EEG systems for the assessment of animal welfare
The goal of our research is to understand neural mechanisms underlying complex behavior in animals as for example social interaction. For this purpose we develop extremely miniaturized telemetric full band EEG systems and polymer electrodes. Currently we apply the prototypes in order to assess animal welfare. In the future these systems shall be used to monitor cortical development of preterm babies.
